System Settings pop up on KDE Ubuntu when using fluxer

Summary

When I open fluxer on my laptop it opens, but over it, the system settings app is opened on the "Shortcuts" page. When I close the window and continue to have fluxer open, the system settings window pops up again after a few seconds. Only one at a time, so it is only reopened when I close it. It stops as soon as I close fluxer. I installed fluxer from the fluxer webpage, I did not build it from source or anything like that.

Steps to reproduce

Open fluxer

Environment (optional)

I am running on: stable (da945d1), 2026-02-19 01:28:38 UTC, Electron 39.2.7, Linux 6.18.7-surface-1 (x64), desktop stable 0.0.8 , KDE Plasma 5.27.12 on Ubuntu 24.04 Wayland.

Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

KDE 5.27.12 on 24.04 Wayland I have the same bug, I believe after some digging it is that Fluxer is trying to access the global shortcuts in KDE, and is unable to do so.

Same, and its rather annoying. I thought it might be something from a single community, but its happening in all communities and even in private chats. So its definitely something related to the app itself.
