Scrolling down through the photo gallery unexpectedly jumps back to the top (recent photos)

Observed behaviour

While scrolling down, the view suddenly and unexpectedly jumps/resets you back to the beginning of the photos (the most recent ones).

Reproduction steps

  1. Open the media/photo selection menu to send a picture in chat.
  2. Scroll down continuously through your photos until older items begin to load (where it prompts you to wait a moment for new photos to load).

Details

Expected behaviour The gallery should scroll smoothly downward through the photos without interruption, maintaining the current scroll position.
