GIFs stop animating after a new message is sent or received

Observed behaviour

Gifs that were once animating stop after someone sends a message or another gif but it can continue to animate the latest one if you refresh the gif by scrolling up and down quickly

Reproduction steps

  1. Send a gif in a channel
  2. Send anything else afterwards

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 66, Channel Beta, Build 2481, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S918U1, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.5, Dart 3.13.4

Expected behaviour All gifs visible on the screen should remain animated
