reply preview shows the raw text without markdown

Observed behaviour

the markdown is not rendered and instead shows the raw text

Reproduction steps

send or receive a message with markdown in the first couple characters, such as \ escaping a bullet point
reply to the message
look at the preview of the message within your reply

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 58, Channel Beta, Build 2385, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S928B, Locale en-GB, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.2, Dart 3.13.2

Expected behaviour the markdown is rendered as best as possible

Can reproduce CR: renders links, code snippets, and code blocks properly. but shows raw for headers (#) and bullets. maybe others Version 1.0.0, Beta 58, Channel Beta, Build 2385, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9a, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.2, Dart 3.13.2

Can reproduce CR: Version 1.0.0, Channel Canary, Build 2404, Android 15 (arm64), Device OnePlus CPH2465, Locale en-GB, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.2, Dart 3.13.2 | NB: Only affects some markdown types, as per user 1471663952882754315.
