Video playback fails on self-hosted instance

(#2046) Bug Won't fix media mobile self-hosting

Observed behaviour

An error box pops up saying "Could not play this video." I noticed this message in the logcat (when on the self-hosted instance), and while I didn't recognize any obvious error messages, I did notice this:
08-14 22:24:24.294 31240 31240 I flutter : VideoOutput.Resize
08-14 22:24:24.294 31240 31240 I flutter : {rect: {top: 0, left: 0, width: 1, height: 1}, wid: 0, handle: -5476376658917839360, id: 0}
On the main instance, the width and height there match the video's actual resolution, rather than being 1x1.

Reproduction steps

  1. Open any posted video (e.g. .mp4) when logged into a self-hosted instance
  2. Observe the error message

Talking with Hamous the backend shouldn't report those numbers, It seems to be something wrong with the instance.
