Deleting a favorites category on desktop does not sync to mobile

Observed behaviour

The favorite category deletion is not recognized until the app is restarted. Sometimes, restarting the app recreates the deleted favorite categories instead of the app recognizing they've been deleted as well.

Reproduction steps

Create a favorite category. Keep your phone on the favorites screen.
On desktop, delete the favorite category.
