Useless background audio player when changing channels or when the audio has finished playing

Unfortunately, the background audio controls do nothing once the audio has finished playing. The same behavior happens if you play a longer audio file and interrupt playback by changing channels.

Expected behaviour Since the audio has finished the background player controls should also go away. Or, the background controls should be able to play the audio again.
