Inbox unreads keep updating invisibly, resulting in confusing behavior

Observed behaviour

It takes you to the actual latest unread message rather than the message that you necessarily see on screen. It's very confusing because this screen does not visually update as new messages are being sent, but the tappable link continues to update invisibly.

Reproduction steps

At the bottom of the app, tap on 'Notifications'
At the top-right, switch it to Unreads
Wait a little bit for someone else to send messages in a community you are in, or coordinate with someone to have them send messages
Tap on the channel above the messages.
