Keyboard doesnt stay up when app is reopened

Observed behaviour

Keyboard isn't on screen and big blank space shows up where keyboard should be

Reproduction steps

  1. Open keyboard
  2. Close app
  3. Reopen app

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 37, Channel Beta, Build 2188, Android 17 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9, Locale en-US, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.6, Dart 3.12.2

Can't reproduce CNR: Version 1.0.0, Beta 38, Channel Beta, Build 2199, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9a, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.7, Dart 3.12.2

Can reproduce no blank space for me but keyboard is closed after putting the app in the background and reopening it; Version 1.0.0, Beta 39, Channel Beta, Build 2201, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S938B, Locale de-DE, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.7, Dart 3.12.2

Can reproduce CR: Version 1.0.0, Channel Canary, Build 2259, Android 15 (arm64), Device OnePlus CPH2465, Locale en-GB, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.9, Dart 3.12.2 | NB: I only notice the closed keyboard, I don't see the big gap shown.
