Observed behaviour
User can type in the message field. Input only becomes disabled after attempting to send a message and failed to send, at which point the UI shows: "You can't send message in this channel"
Reproduction steps
- Create a guild/community
- Update the "everyone" role permissions to allow only "View channel"
- Have another user (not the same account) or a different account join your community
- Open any text channel
- Try typing into the message field
