Observed behaviour

Pings you do to yourself don't get highlighted.

Reproduction steps

  1. Go to any text channel
  2. Ping yourself, either directly by name or with a role

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 38, Channel Beta, Build 2199, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9a, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.7, Dart 3.12.2

Details

Expected behaviour Direct pings and role pings, even if you do it to yourself, should highlight in yellow.

  2. Rex changed the status from Needs triage to Fixed
