Media picker search closes the keyboard and jumps back to the emoji tab when the message box is not focused

Observed behaviour

the keyboard pops up and closes, and when selected "GIFs", "Saved Media" or "Stickers" the media picker goes back to the emoji category/tab

Reproduction steps

  1. check if the text cursor is not appearing on the message imput field. If it is, leave the channel, then go back;
  2. click the emoji icon to open the emoji picker;
  3. on any category of media picker, tap on the search box;

Details

Expected behaviour the keyboard should pop up and stay to let the user search for the media and not return to the emojis tab when on an different category/tab, even if the user didn't select the message box previously.

Reopened because staff called the fix a work in progress and the reporter could still reproduce the bug afterwards.
