"Connecting" badge is translated to system language, not app language

Text is translated to system language (German). Can reproduce behavior across both devices listed below.

Reproduction steps

Cause "Connecting" badge to appear, either by switching to another app momentarily or by going to the home screen without explicitly closing the app.
