typing indicator in user's status doesn't trigger

Observed behaviour

no typing indicator in their status icon

Reproduction steps

  1. ask someone to dm you
  2. watch their status icon in the dm list
  3. (optional) switch between the chat and the dm list to see when they're actually typing, as it'll show up in the chat

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 31, Channel Beta, Build 35, iOS 18.7.8 (arm64), Device iPhone17,1, Locale en-US, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.4, Dart 3.12.2

Details

Expected behaviour the status icon grows horizontally with a typical typing indicator "..."
  1. Rex changed the status from Needs triage to Fixed

Can reproduce Confirmed - Noticed this actively. -Version 1.0.0, Beta 32, Channel Beta, Build 2161, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.5, Dart 3.12.2
