Trying to jump to a message link in a channel with no permissions to chat in that is also not accessible to the user it originated from just opens the channel at the last sent message has not been edited, so there are no earlier versions.

Trying to jump to a message link in a channel with no permissions to chat in that is also not accessible to the user it originated from just opens the channel at the last sent message

Observed behaviour

It just lands in the channel at the last post sent.

Reproduction steps

  1. Click on a message link from a user that leads to a channel with no writing permissions and no access for the user the message came from.
  2. Observe the resulting behaviour.
