UI shift in chat when new messages get sent due to "New" separator appearing quickly

Observed behaviour

There is a separator. But it appears then disappears again very quickly causing the UI to shift

Reproduction steps

Go into a chat and wait until someone sends a message
Watch the chat after they send the message

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 25, Channel Beta, Build 29, iOS 26.6 (arm64), Device iPhone13,1, Locale en-GB, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.2, Dart 3.12.2

Expected behaviour There shouldn't be a "New" message separator (the red line) in the chat you're actively viewing

Can reproduce Confirmed - I noticed it appearing as well, very shortly but it is there. - Version 1.0.0, Beta 25, Channel Beta, Build 2091, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.2, Dart 3.12.2

Can reproduce receiving new messages in a chat currently opened always results in the "new" indicator showing and disappearing rapidly; Version 1.0.0, Beta 32, Channel Beta, Build 2160, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S938B, Locale de-DE, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.5, Dart 3.12.2

Fixed on canary by dd148271 — gateway-acknowledged message creates now advance the read watermark in the same state emission that appends the message, so there is no frame where the NEW divider can render. Covered by regression tests in chat_view_model_unread_test.dart and message_list_scroll_test.dart. Will be in the next beta; please reopen if it still reproduces there.
