Setting changes do not reliably sync between desktop and mobile

Observed behaviour

Sometimes the change syncs, but most of the time it doesn't

Reproduction steps

  1. On the canary desktop, toggle a setting, example: "Enable favorites"
  2. On ios/mobile, toggle "Enable favorites" on/off

Build information

Version 1.0.0, Beta 25, Channel Beta, Build 29, iOS 26.5 (arm64), Device iPhone14,5, Locale en-PH, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.2, Dart 3.12.2

Can reproduce CR, Tested with Favorites, have not checked other options - Version 1.0.0, Beta 25, Channel Beta, Build 29, iOS 26.5 (arm64), Device iPhone15,4, Locale en-US, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.2, Dart 3.12.2
