Observed behaviour

The scroll position is reset to the latest message

Reproduction steps

  1. Scroll up in a chat
  2. Quickly swipe to open the channel list
  3. Quickly swipe back to the chat

Version 1.0.0, Beta 25, Channel Beta, Build 29, iOS 26.6 (arm64), Device iPhone13,1, Locale en-GB, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.2, Dart 3.12.2

Can reproduce Confirmed - Replicated behaviour. - Version 1.0.0, Beta 25, Channel Beta, Build 2091, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.2, Dart 3.12.2

Fixed on canary by 878033cd and bb2b73fc — the chat subtree now stays mounted behind the drawer (Offstage instead of removal), so the scroll controller and position survive the reveal round-trip. Covered by a regression test in message_list_scroll_test.dart. Will be in the next beta; please reopen if it still reproduces there.
