Mentions and Emojis appear as a random character when the cursor immediately follows any non-whitespace text in the draft message box

(#1782) Bug Fixed mobile

Observed behaviour

The @mention turns into a random character. Some users have reported to not have this issue, so this seems to only affect certain devices. I am on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, for reference. Linked video in #additional-info for bug demonstration in case attachment doesn't work: https://fluxer.app/channels/1489322182823577203/1515299859144384512/1517599417807417344

Reproduction steps

  1. Draft a message while also inserting a mention or emoji into it.
  2. Move the cursor so that there is no whitespace to the immediate left of it.
