Autocomplete emoji does not use Twemoji

Observed behaviour

Emojis show up using the system default emoji. Note: Custom emoji do not show up in the autocomplete at the moment, but is part of the post-public release timeline.

Reproduction steps

  1. Type in a message box :grin but do not send it to make the autocomplete pop up over the message box.

Build information

Beta 52, Version 1.0.0, Android 10 (arm64), Device samsung SM-N960U1, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.1, Dart 3.12.1

Platform

Details

Expected behaviour Emoijs would use Twemoji, as in the rest of the app.

Can reproduce Confirmed - This one is quite annoying I won't lie. - Beta 2055, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.1, Dart 3.12.1

Can reproduce Additionally, the emoji previews are cut off at the bottom and right sides. Beta 54, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9a, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.1, Dart 3.12.1
