channel/mention autofill suggestions remove a space before when selected

Observed behaviour

the space (just one) gets removed, causing the mention/channel to appear right next to the word before

Reproduction steps

  1. draft a message
  2. type a space followed by an @ or #
  3. start typing something that would show up in the autofill menu
  4. select something from the autofill

Expected behaviour the space before the channel/mention should be preserved
