Observed behaviour

Mentioning roles do not work, but everyone, here, and mentions to your user work fine. (The earlier everyone mention from Sajuuk from a few days ago about how mobile client logins should now fixed shows up fine.)

Reproduction steps

  1. If you don’t already have a role in #channel, get one for your platform.
  2. View #channel

Expected behaviour Changelogs from Elias with the Android Alpha and iOS TestFlight roles correctly show the mention (yellow bar the height of the message and a faint yellow background, and does not show the ping when marking as unread.

Can reproduce Confirmed - The non-Standard pings for roles are not highlighted/notify as expected. - Beta 2041, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0

Can reproduce CR. It works properly for the everyone role though. Beta 16, Version 1.0.0, iOS 26.5 (arm64), Device iPhone18,2, Locale fr-FR, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0
