Custom emoji do not show up in Frequently Used section of the Emoji Picker

Observed behaviour

Only the built-in emoji show up in the Emoji picker, not the custom one.

Reproduction steps

  1. Select a custom emoji using the Emoji Picker
  2. Select a built-in emoji using the Emoji Picker

Build information

Beta 34, Version 1.0.0, Android 10 (arm64), Device samsung SM-N960U1, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0

Platform

Android

Details

Expected behaviour Both emoji show up in the Frequently Used section
  1. Rex changed the status from Confirmed to Fixed
  2. Rex changed the status from Needs triage to Fixed

Reopened because the community can still reproduce this after it was closed.

Can reproduce Confirmed; only standard emoji are added to Frequently Used - Beta 34, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S938B, Locale de-DE, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0
