Editing a message deletes the previously typed unsent message

Observed behaviour

The chat input box is empty.

Reproduction steps

  1. Send a message in a chat of your choice
  2. Type up another message in the same chat, but do not send it
  3. Long press the previously sent message
  4. Choose edit
  5. Change the message and send the edit

Beta 34, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S938B, Locale de-DE, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0

Expected behaviour The preciously typed but unsent message is recovered to the chat input box.

Can reproduce Confirmed - Makes multitasking difficult at times. - Beta 2035, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push unifiedpush, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0

Can reproduce CR — Beta 34, Version 1.0.0, Android 10 (arm64), Device samsung SM-N960U1, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.0, Dart 3.12.0 | NB: You don't need to confirm the edit, even cancelling the edit can cause the text box to clear.
