Observed behaviour

The first letter is lower case

Reproduction steps

  1. Open text input field
  2. Enter a letter

Build information

Beta 2030, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.41.9, Dart 3.11.5

Expected behaviour The first letter should be automatically capitalized

Can reproduce Beta 30, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-A176B, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.41.9, Dart 3.11.5

Can't reproduce I cannot replicate this. But this may also be because I am using SwiftKey. - Beta 2030, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-F966B, Locale de-DE, Push fcm, Flutter 3.41.9, Dart 3.11.5

Can reproduce Confirmed using gboard. Possibly some text field hint is missing - Beta 30, Version 1.0.0, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 5, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.41.9, Dart 3.11.5
