I'd like to add that on Linux, at least Wayland restricts listening to keyboard events, unless the specific program is in focus, making so that by default keybinds wont work, unless they're bound to the mouse :)
Would love to see this feature being implemented.
This is a big deal for me and a friend. Would love to see this function. The best app i've ever used with push to talk is Mumble. They had the ability to make a key bind unique to the application to "suppress" it from functioning outside of the push to talk button so mouse 4 would no long go back on web pages while talking. It was amazing times.
I'm on windows.

Same, without push to talk, it's unusable for me. I rebound my side mouse button to f13 and f14, I can bind it that way, but the actual push to talk isn't functioning correctly either, it stays at voice detection, but mutes you once you release the key, and never unmutes you again, until you do it manually..
