Can't create link channel with URL containing special character

(#14) Bug Awaiting confirmation channels

Observed behaviour

It errors out before creating the channel. Expected behaviour It should create a working link channel.

Reproduction steps

  1. Start creating link channel
  2. Input name and URL containing a special character, like "#"
  3. Get error.

Summary

When I create a link channel I can't link to a website containing the character "#". It works as fast as I remove the character, but then obviously the link breaks.

Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.
