Problem
The inbox screen is too small to consistently filter through unreads. I would like the ability to filter channels by unread in the channel switcher. Additionally, allowing unread, bookmarks and mentions to be filters for the channel switcher would be awesome.
Proposal
Allow filtering by unread in the channel switcher, and have the Ctrl + Shift + K command to open the channel switcher with the 'Unread' filter on.
Additionally, when a filter is used, show a badge with the amount of unread/bookmarked/mentioning messages.
If possible, each filter would extend the #. Alternatively, you could use a different set of symbols.
## OR $ - Unreads
#! OR % - Bookmarks
#@ OR ^ - Mentions
You could also have DMs be put over messages, and sorting the channels by default using amount of messages would be excellent for reading through everything more efficiently. DMs are usually higher priority.
