Ability to select multiple messages to copy, forward or delete the selected messages

Problem

Useful for personal notes, DM's and also Fluxer servers. The delete option would only show up if all of the selected messages are the users own messages.

Proposal

Can be implemented using the same sort of design language functionally speaking to how Signal handles it. Example: Screenshot_20260624-075130

I think this would probably only be relevant in the context of the mobile app?

I think it would still be good to implement it in Desktop as well as I see no reason not to. I'm fairly sure Signal Desktop also features this to keep in parity with their mobile app.👍

Wanted to start the topic with same idea, but it already exists. Agree, the lack of checkboxes to select multiple messages to do ONE SAME ACTION with all of them - is one of the most annoying thing of Discord (the spiritual mastermind of Fluxer). I would really be happy to see this feature in Fluxer. The following actions might be relevant for multiple selected messages:
  • forward
  • delete
  • bookmark
  • pin
  • mark as unread (maybe..)
  • add reaction to all selected (maybe..)

I brought this up the other day in the context of moderation. It would also be nice to be able to select multiple messages during a raid and then be able to press "Ban member(s)", which would also let you wipe the messages on the ban modal.

"Report this messages" can be also added to possible context menu for multiple selected messages. Although I don't think situations where it will be necessary to massively report messages will occur often. It must be some kind of dirty and heated discussion.. xD

Usually one message is enough to report, because that gives the safety team enough context clues, esp if the offending material is right after each other.
