Problem
Sometimes when I update my drivers (Windows/NVIDIA) and go to use my favorite Electron apps, I am greeted with a "crust" that causes visual issues and very degraded performance. I am able to turn off hardware acceleration (dealing with slightly worse performance for a bit) on most of these apps until a fix is pushed. However, it looks like on Fluxer- I'm only able to turn off hardware acceleration for streams and not the UI itself. Here's some images of the "crust" (I should reiterate that the crust itself seems to be an issue for all Electron apps and not just Fluxer): Fluxer_nR1ghtF9Xp Fluxer_2ocv9JEt91 Fluxer_vtjVJJ4ZaI Fluxer_A9kac2m0sbProposed solution
I think a toggle option forHardware Acceleration should be added in Advanced next to the stream hardware acceleration option, with maybe a name change for the stream one to note their difference. Or the stream HW could be moved to Audio & Video?
