Changes
Essentially each participating Community would host an entrance link to the channel that could be access limited just like any other channel. This would also allow for a single news feed to be available across an entire instance, in the case of a self hosted instance. I also think it would pair nicely with [#1082](https://feedback.fluxer.com/p/1082) and [#1095](https://feedback.fluxer.com/p/1095).Removed: ### Notes (optional)Removed: Removed: _No response_Removed: Removed: ### ChecksRemoved: Removed: - ☑ I searched for existing discussions and didn't find a duplicate.Removed:

Changes
Cross Community channels, even if limited to a single instance could allow easy and/or temporary mingling. Community A could invite Community B to share a channel. This channel could have per Community access controls like any other channel, and moderation for that channel could include any users that have access to the channel from any participating Community.Removed: Essentially each participating Community would host an entrance link to the channel that could be access limited just like any other channel. Problem
I've been a member of several discord "servers" for quite a while, and I run a server of my own. My server has gained many members from some of those other servers that only joined because I was willing to add pretty much anyone to it and we all wanted to do something together. Most of these people rarely check my server and only come in when there is a big cross server event since my server is pretty much neutral ground for people who don't know each other. I don't think it should be necessary to spin up an entire server/community just to have a way for multiple communities to mingle.Proposed solution
