Do you guys genuinely find it difficult to just use the add friend button then type in their username? Ie; for me it'd be coldreindeer#---- (Just trying to understand your perspective)

Problem with qr codes is people can use them for nefarious purposes. At least with a link you can hover on it etc and can check properly if its safe or if it's leading somewhere dodgy.
