The discriminator could be circumvented by having searchable IDs like on Steam. Steam has accountnames that only you know and you must not share as you login with it. accountnamepassword

I like this idea. I think in the context of fluxer, we already have our snowflake user id's so this could work.
However, I think those who are pushing to remove discriminators probably would not find this to be a satisfactory solution.
