Problem
Testing the app requires either using the web app, or installing the normal app. Depending on the browser(s) available, the web app might not work as intended. And some devices don't have install privileges for normal users, or installing apps is frowned upon (i.e. a company PC), but in both cases, it is possible to open portable apps which don't require administrator rights.
As for why someone would prefer a portable app over using a web browser? Because they won't need to login from each new device they use, as long as they use the same USB stick to store portable version of the Fluxer app they are logged in on.
There is also the issue of installing apps bloating one's PC with leftover files and registry. And many people are not tech-savvy enough to know how and what to safely delete, but are tech-savvy enough to "install" a portable app and delete if after they're done testing and/or using it (if needed).
That's how I ended up installing many apps which I would not have even tried if those apps did not have a portable version. Like VirtualBox and OBS and Obsidian and Brackets (the editor) and Win10 Brightness Slider (for multi-screen brightness sliders), from the top of my head.
Proposed solution
A portable (aka. no-install) version of the app for Windows at the very least, so people can try the app without installing it.
Notes (optional)
Might be relevant to use the PortableApps.com method to package the portable version, aside from having an archive with the portable version of the app.
