Observed behaviour

Stream audio is extremely "crunched" and sounds as if it's 1 bit.

Reproduction steps

  1. Start a stream in a server
  2. People watch stream

Canary Desktop 2026.519.235858, Web 2026.520.42154, Linux 7.0.5-arch1-1 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-GB

Expected behaviour Stream audio is transmitted clearly

Can reproduce Confirmed - Tested with Caus, sound is crunchy when watching and hearing the stream audio. - Canary Desktop 2026.523.203010, Web 2026.528.190418, Linux 7.0.9-arch1-1 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-GB
